Google tracking issues

Tracking the fingerprint of the device

Fegemu Solutions uses an-IP address-identification mechanism that automatically masks a part of each visitor's IP address (Internet Protocol), making it impossible to identify a particular Google visitor by IP address alone.

The device's fingerprint is information collected on a remote computer device for identification purposes. These fingerprints can be used to identify specific users or devices even when cookies are disabled.  The fingerprint on the device expires after 30 minutes.  However, if a user so chooses (opt-out), the fingerprint on the device will not be collected.

Data records

Records are text files that store information on the server. The following records are stored for analysis purposes unless the user decides otherwise (opt-out):

    • IP address (masked), location, date, time and hour in the visitor's local time zone

    • Title, URL of the page being displayed and URL of the page that was displayed before the current page

    • Information about the device used (screen resolution, desktop/tablet/mobile, make, model, ...) and about the internet connection (page speed)

    • Operating system, browser version, browser-compatible plug-ins

    • Site search and files accessed and downloaded, and links to external domains accessed

    • Main language of the browser being used and language of the page being visited

Waiver (opt-out)

By default, Google Analytics tracks the browsing experience, among other things, to generate statistics. It is possible to prevent this monitoring by opting out of this function by clicking here.

If you opt out, you will receive a cookie (piwik_ignore) to remember your decision.

If you disable cookies in your browser, you will not be able to opt-out because it will not be possible to store the "piwik_ignore" cookie on your computer. In this case, please see the "Do not track" option below.

Do not track" option

The "Do not track" option allows visitors to prevent websites from tracking their activity for any type of purpose, be it the use of analysis services, advertising networks or social networking platforms.

If you enable the "Do not track" option in your web browser, Google Analytics will respect your choice and will not track any visitor on whose computer a "piwik_ignore" cookie is placed; the "Do not track" option does not work with Internet Explorer, please use the opt-out option.

Restricted access to information

All analysis data transfer is encrypted via the HTTPS protocol. Analytical reports generated by Google Analytics can only be accessed by duly authorised external subcontractors who are required to analyse, develop or maintain certain websites on a regular basis.

Visitor records

Google Analytics automatically removes visitor records after 6 months.  The European Commission stores aggregated data for an indefinite period for analysis purposes.
